Jenni Kayne – The Coterie x Peaceful Prana Yoga Class

The Coterie is a place for connection, above all else. We offer four types of yoga-based classes that allow you to get more in touch with yourself. We understand that calming the chatter in your mind and tapping into your breath are equally as important as strengthening the physical body. We offer our classes and memberships along a sliding scale because we are committed to lowering the financial barrier to wellness. We are in support of your wellbeing in all ways – physically, financially, mentally and emotionally. Peaceful Prana is The Coterie’s journey toward a balanced state. In this class, you will be drawn between effort and ease with your teacher’s fluid sequence. Engaging, slower movements will draw out your inner strength, and restorative poses will bring you peace in your mind. Shaila is a lifelong student of yoga, raised in Yogic and Vedic traditions passed down by her father and his father (and his father, so on.) In her classes, expect to practice poses and breathwork that will help you build an expansive, feels-good-for-you physical practice. Just as much as the physical, Shaila’s classes also focus on connection to self. You may learn to focus inward and quiet the fluctuations of the mind, or you may find curiosity in deeper self-study and self-discipline.
